Wichita's Tourism Industry

Tourists love to visit places that are fun, relaxing and unique in every sense. In my other blogs, I have talked about how different cities in the United States of America are unique and diverse. According to a recent survey conducted by Barton school of business for the Greater Wichita Convention and Visitors Bureau stated that more than 3.4 million people visit Wichita each year. This brings in $356 million into the city's economy. But Wichita's travel industry has employed more than 27000 people, leading to expenses in payroll cost of $327 million. Therefore, as we can see by the end of the year our tourism industry although has a positive income, that income gets eventually used up in maintenance and repair of the attractions, and so Wichita can develop nothing new since it lacks money to do so. As a way of dealing with this issue, I would suggest the locals of Wichita instead of traveling out of their cities, should try and tour within Wichita. This would make them aware of the services in Wichita, and also bring in more money into the tourism industry, in addition to those brought by tourist from other parts of the country.
