A wonderful vacation with City Pass
I used City Pass for Los Angeles, and San Diego trip. I had my best trip ever. The package is a great deal, the advantage of using the city pass is not only save money, but also makes me feel like a VIP tourist. After using city pass, every time when my friend and I plan to travel, we have to find out if there is city pass available. City pass has the travel plan for you, you can use it within 14 days, you don’t need worry about time is too rush. It helps you to arrange your travel schedule easier. I like to use City Pass; it is convenient, save money, and save time. Wichita is a cultural and art center in Kansas, in order to attract more tourists and fulfill the needs of the citizens that adopt City Pass Wichita is a great way to reduce the cost of attractions’ admissions. I fully recommend that city of Wichita should adopt City Pass Wichita in the near future.

Lovely Wichita
When I first moved here from California a few years ago, I visited many of the local attractions. I was pleasantly surprised by them all. The Wichita Art Museum has had many wonderful exhibits that I have enjoyed immensely, and I always find the blown glass fascinating. It is also home to the original "In the Mowing" which is my favorite work of Homer Winslow. I think the Sedgwick County Zoo is amongst the best that I have visited. The setting is intimate and interesting. I particularly like the Rain Forest and Gorillas. There is much to enjoy in Wichita and much more is coming with the support of the Intrust Bank Arena and the success we had selling out the Broadway musical "Wicked" when it came to town in 2009.

A citizen's request for City Pass
Having lived in Wichita for the better part of my life, I am constantly trying to take advantage of all of the wonderful assets that Wichita has to offer. Recently my brother in law was visiting us and we wanted to take my daughter to Tanganyika Wildlife park, to which I am a member of. To my great surprise the park's hours had changed and they were no longer open during the week because of the cold Kansas winter. Needing a place to go, my brother in law asked why we couldn't just have one membership that could get us into most of the attractions in this city. Thus, the idea of City Pass was born.
My husband and I would love to be able to go and visit more of the museums here, but with some of the price of admissions exceeding $10 per person for a one day ticket, unfortunately we cannot always afford to go. We feel that if there was someway that we could get a discounted rate to all of the city's musuems for one week, then we would probably enjoy more of the offerings in this town. City Pass would be a perfect solution to our problem. If we had the opportunity to utilize City Pass, I truly think that more people would be able to see what Wichita is really all about, and it would boost tourism to the city.

Wichita's Tourism Industry
Tourists love to visit places that are fun, relaxing and unique in every sense. In my other blogs, I have talked about how different cities in the United States of America are unique and diverse. According to a recent survey conducted by Barton school of business for the Greater Wichita Convention and Visitors Bureau stated that more than 3.4 million people visit Wichita each year. This brings in $356 million into the city's economy. But Wichita's travel industry has employed more than 27000 people, leading to expenses in payroll cost of $327 million. Therefore, as we can see by the end of the year our tourism industry although has a positive income, that income gets eventually used up in maintenance and repair of the attractions, and so Wichita can develop nothing new since it lacks money to do so. As a way of dealing with this issue, I would suggest the locals of Wichita instead of traveling out of their cities, should try and tour within Wichita. This would make them aware of the services in Wichita, and also bring in more money into the tourism industry, in addition to those brought by tourist from other parts of the country.
Breaking away from the stereotypes
The world is full of different interesting and outstanding sites that never end or never stop to amaze its viewer. It is approaching to that time of the year when everyone of us will be making plans and figuring out where to go to spend their time during the winter break. Wichita is blessed with many natural resources and an enriched history that dates back to the times of the Native Americans, that is a very long time in History indeed. Wichita has many services to offer in terms of relaxation, cultural enrichment, and physical endurance. It offers a look at the lifestyle of the Cowboys, a dance with the natives, a night by the river at eh Exploration place, a friendly hangout at one of the Wichita Thunders games, and many many more. If this is the true face of Wichita, then why is Kansas only regarded nothing more than just a flat piece of land. This is because people have developed a stereotypical viewpoint of Kansas. The only way we can break out of that is by making them realize that Wichita has a lot to offer beyond a piece of land to farm on. We can do this by marketing more about Wichita, and renovating the places of interest in Wichita.
Getting Bored in Wichita
I have time and again heard many students at the Wichita State University complain about how boring Wichita is. They all had one thing to say about this beautiful city, and that is; "it is a place for the retired." I certainly do not agree to that. I am an intetnational student and have tried travelling around to the different parts of the United States of America over the course of my education in this diverse country. In saying it is a diverse country, I mean it is diverse in every sense. Be it in people, culture or scenic beauty. Therefore , if one can see through my point of view, they would be able to see a different experience in Wichita. It is a silent city that is very calming and welcoming. I would love to settle down in Wichita anytime, since it makes you feel as the world has no problems at all. All in all, I would suggest to people who get bored in Wichita to try and experience the different sightseeing attractions we have been made fortunate in having. Places like the Exploration Place, Botanica, the Arts Museum and many more are all waiting for people to come and appreciate of what they offer.
